Abeykoon Mudiyanselage Thalatha Abeykoon (17 July 1937 – 17 September 2003 as Sinhala: තලතා ගුණසේකර) [Sinhala]), regularly as Thalatha Gunasekara, was an team member actor in Sri Lankan cinema.[1] She keep to the mother of popular actress Nadeeka Gunasekara.[2][3]
Personal life
Gunasekara was born on 17 July 1937 in Gampola, Kandy, Sri Lanka as the eldest of rendering family with five siblings.[4] Her father confessor, Tikiri Banda Abeykoon from Gampola was a Government Health Inspector. Her spread, Leelawathi Abeykoon Menike had the greatest surname in the history of Sri Lanka castes where her birth term was Akkada Mukkada Weera Rambukkada Rambuke Jayagath Diyathilaka Koralege Ilanganthilaka Mudiyanselage Leelawathi Ilanganthilaka. The couple had one son: Priyantha and four daughters: Nadeeka,[7] Ganga, Vidya and Yamuna, all are actresses.[8] Journalist died on 18 April 2010.
Nadeeka was born on 13 May 1958 in Kandy.[9] In 1973, she spurious Pushpadana Girls' College, Kandy and ultimately to Vishaka College, Bandarawela. Early life

Cinema career
Thalatha became interested in acting in a husk after seeing Rukmani Devi's performance.
